Bir Tawil Gaming AuthorityTerra Nullius · Internet Gaming Register
Autonomous Territory of Bir Tawil · Terra Nullius

The regulatory authority for internet gaming licensing & supervision.

The Bir Tawil Gaming Authority administers the issuance, supervision, and enforcement of internet gaming licences under the Bir Tawil Territorial Charter — with cryptographically verifiable licence seals for every authorised domain.

Regulatory Mandate

A single register for licensed internet gaming.

The Authority is the designated body for the licensing and ongoing supervision of business-to-consumer and business-to-business gaming operations conducted under the Bir Tawil Territorial Charter. Every licence is recorded in a public register, and every authorised domain is bound to a tamper-evident licence seal that players and partners can verify in seconds.

What We Do

Four functions of the register

From admission to enforcement, the Authority operates a full regulatory lifecycle.

01 / Framework

Regulatory Framework

Due-diligence standards, RNG certification, AML/CFT obligations, and a published code of conduct that every registrant must uphold.
02 / Licensing

Licensing

Four licence classes across B2C, B2B, sports betting, and live dealer operations, each granted through a structured application process.
03 / Enforcement

Enforcement

Continuous supervision, suspension and revocation powers, and a transparent public record of regulatory action.
04 / Register

Public Register

A searchable register of licence holders and a real-time licence seal verification service open to any member of the public.
The Jurisdiction

Terra nullius — the land that is no one’s.

Bir Tawil is a roughly 2,060 km² tract of desert lying between Egypt and Sudan. Because two competing historical interpretations of the border cause each state to press its claim to the adjacent Hala’ib Triangle, neither claims Bir Tawil — leaving it the most frequently cited example of terra nullius, or “no man’s land.”

The Authority operates a private regulatory register grounded in this unclaimed-territory tradition — independent, self-governing, and answerable to its own Charter.

Interactive Licence Seal

Every authorised domain carries a seal you can verify.

Each licensed website displays the Authority’s seal, bound to its domain by a 128-character identifier and an HMAC signature. A single click confirms — in real time — that the domain is genuinely on the register and in good standing.
